About Louise

As the only child of an amateur hoarder father and an obsessively organised and tidy mother (woe betide you if flannels and towels did not co-ordinate in the bathroom) Louise has both the theory and practice of clutter, decluttering and organising instilled from an early age.

In a variety of roles her working life includes an Office Manager and a Jewellery Buyer. Whatever the role, Louise found herself looking at work spaces, reorganising and changing things to make tasks easier, quicker or more effective.

Finding herself redundant and clearing out the family shed she had a light bulb moment when she realised how much she enjoyed decluttering and organising. She found it incredibly satisfying sorting and rearranging so that things could be located easily and quickly. By chance from websites and magazine articles she realised she was not alone and other people offered it as a service. The idea of doing what she loves, helping people and getting paid for it too was the start of Find Simplicity.
